Brown, Kelley star for Redskins in victory over Buccaneers

Washington Redskins running backs Mack Brown and Robert Kelley powered their team to a 20-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brown rushed for 149 yards on 19 carries, including a 60-yard touchdown run where he scampered past numerous defenders en route to the end zone. The 24-year-old gained the endorsement of wide receiver DeSean Jackson during his performance Wednesday.

Kelley rushed for 99 yards on 16 carries, continuing to spearhead a strong running game for the Redskins. Both players are fighting for a backup role, with Matt Jones slated as the incumbent starting running back.

Buccaneers quarterback Mike Glennon struggled in a brief outing, going 1-of-5 for -1 yard, before giving way to Ryan Griffin.

This game concluded the preseason for both teams.
