Report: Burton expected to sign with Bears for 4 years, $32M

The Chicago Bears are expected to sign tight end Trey Burton to a four-year, $32-million contract, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.

The versatile pass-catcher is perhaps best known for his role in the "Philly Special" trick play in which he threw a touchdown pass to quarterback Nick Foles in Super Bowl LII.

Burton spent four seasons in Philly and was expected to command a ton of attention in free agency. Now, he'll reportedly join Allen Robinson as new targets for franchise quarterback Mitch Trubisky.
