Report: Texans receive draft-pick compensation after Lane fails physical

Due to cornerback Jeremy Lane failing his physical after being traded to the Houston Texans on Monday, the player has been dropped from the deal and replaced with draft pick compensation, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

The Texans will now get a 2018 third-round pick and a 2019 second-round pick from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for left tackle Duane Brown and a 2018 fifth-round pick. Lane will return to the Seahawks, but may be released for salary cap reasons.

More to come.
